Surfactant HM-518

HM-518 is a multi-functional fire-fighting anti-burning surface active foaming agent.

It is a multi-functional surfactant mainly synthesized with green environmental degradation, natural non-toxic, non-irritating anionic-nonionic surfactant.

 

It has the advantages of acid resistance, alkali resistance, salt resistance, good foaming performance, good foam toughness, high strength and durable stability, strong resistance to hard water and seawater. It can be compatible with hydrocarbon and fluorocarbon surfactants such as anions, cations, and amphoteric surfactants, and synergistically enhances surface activity, and play a role in isolating air, reducing temperature, biodegradability of more than 98%.

 

Due to the fact that this auxiliary product has three functional groups: hydrophilic, oleophilic, and multi anchoring at the same time, as a foaming agent for fire extinguishing agents, it can form a liquid water film that can be well covered and expanded, with a large foaming amount and balanced density. It is suitable for various fire extinguishing agents and has excellent compatibility with other surfactants and compounds.

 

At present, it has been widely used in various types of fire foam extinguishing agents, such as aqueous film-forming foam extinguishing agent (AFFF), alcohol resistant aqueous aqueous film-forming foam extinguishing agent (AR-AFFF), seawater resistant and gel insoluble foam extinguishing agent, and can achieve good fire extinguishing effect.
