Surfactant HM-118

HM-118 is a stable foam, anti burning, and anti heat radiation agent, which is a special double oxane structured polymer nanocomposite material polymer.

 

Through the negative oxygen balance mechanism, endothermic cooling mechanism and electrochemical inhibition mechanism, the products of its thermal decomposition can quickly reduce the oxygen and hot flue gas content in the combustion area, absorb high-temperature ions generated by combustion, and undergo chain reactions that suppress combustion, achieving the goal of isolating air, reducing temperature, and quickly extinguishing fires.

 

Due to the presence of multiple anchoring active groups, this product forms a double layer electrostatic repulsion effect in the fire extinguishing agent, which has excellent wetting and adhesion to organic and inorganic materials, and helps to cover and expand the water film, improving the ability to prevent thermal radiation. It is suitable for various aqueous film-forming foam extinguishing agents(AFFF) and has excellent compatibility with other surfactants and compounds to achieve excellent fire extinguishing effect of heat radiation resistance.
