Fluorocarbon surfactant LM-1157 (AFFF)

LM-1157 is an amphoteric perfluorinated surfactant that significantly reduces the surface tension of aqueous solutions. 

 

This class of amphoteric perfluorinated surfactants can form a liquid water film that covers and extends well to the surface of hydrocarbons.

 

It is widely used in fire foam extinguishing agents as an important water-forming agent, and also widely used in cleaning agent to clean metal surfaces more effectively.
